The beginning
Very little is known of this writer who "claims" to be named Antonio Ricardo Scozze. I say claimed because his story is very odd, with very limited records to back up anything he says about himself or the world at large.
What is know for certain is that in late August, 1973, a man was found living alone in a cave in the rugged Sicilian mountains above the seaside village of Santo Stefano di Camastra. This man, dressed in a hooded black robe as if he were a Franciscan monk, said that despite his rough living God provided him with all he needed and that his duty was to write. The villagers would regularly bring the man fresh fruits and bread, believing him to be a traveling monk or some other kind of holy man.
When asked what he was writing, the man told them, "I have to chronicle the eternal war between humans and demons." Not truly understanding what that meant, the villagers also started bringing him wine as well.
This man is Antonio Ricardo Scozze.
